Second Annual

2025 National Christian Mentoring Gathering

April 16-18, 2025 - Colorado Springs, CO

Give this a listen:

Check Out Who Is Coming

Just like with most things… you get out what you put in. Spend some time going over what people will be at the Gathering and what organizations they lead. Jot down some notes and be intentional about asking good questions when you find yourself in the room with these incredible mentoring leaders.

Breakout Sessions

Subject to Change - You can pick two

  • Join Peter Vanacore and Donnovan Karber from Christian Association of Youth Mentoring as they lead us best practices for youth mentoring. You will leave with proven tips and tricks, backed by data and research, that will ensure that you and your organization are mentoring the right way.

  • Is what I’m doing even working? How do I do mentoring in a way that is creating lasting results? In this breakout session, Peter Vanacore and Donnovan Karber teach us how to measure success in our mentoring relationships. Not only will this encourage your staff and mentors, but will prove to your donors that you are moving the needle in the right direction.

  • Join John Barnard from Middleman Ministries and Zach Garza, founder of Forerunner Mentoring Program and You Can Mentor, as they go through their book “The Youth Mentoring Playbook”. Here Zach and John break down each chapter, and why they believe it is essential to your mentoring journey. You will leave with a reminder of why you mentor, God’s heart for mentoring, and a few tangible tools to put in your mentoring tool belt.

  • How can we set our volunteer mentors up for success? What are the best ways to keep them equipped and encouraged from the start? How can we provide essential ongoing trainings once they are in their mentoring relationship? Hear from the staff of Kids Hope USA and Forerunner Mentoring as they share what they do to train effective and impactful volunteer mentors.

  • Glen Eyrie Conference Center

We chose Glen Eyrie for a number of reasons, but primarily for it’s beautiful environment and fantastic food.

We hope you feel worth and value when staying at Glen Eyrie. After all, the work you are doing is of the utmost importance and it’s not too often we get to be celebrated.

  • You can begin checking in Wednesday as early as 2pm. We will end no later than noon on Friday.

  • We recommend flying directly into Colorado Springs. It is close to Glen Eyrie and a very small, easy-to-navigate airport. It is 18 miles from Glen Eyrie.

Denver is about an hour and a half away if that is a better option for you. It is 83 miles away from Glen Eyrie.

  • Everything we will do is on the Glen Eyrie campus. Because of that, we recommend Ubering to our event. A typical Uber ride from COS airport to Glen Eyrie is around $35.

We do not provide shuttle services, but we will create a ride sharing spreadsheet in case you want to share a ride with another Gathering participant.

  • 1) Relational connect with God and others

    2) Get equipped with best practices and new ideas

    3) Leave refreshed and ready to pour out

This is a highly relational event with lots of free time to organically connect with others. Don’t worry, if you need you’re alone time, we got that covered too.

Whatever you need, whether it is space, relationships, or connections, we hope you find it at the Gathering.
